Woodhams manufactures and pre-assembles pump skids, process pipework, distribution chambers and modular steelwork in our own workshop, so that time on live water and wastewater sites is spent installing, not building – reducing disruption, site congestion and programme risk.
Treatment works are congested, operational and often short of laydown space. Every hour spent building on a live site adds risk: more people near live assets, more work at height, more interfaces with operations and more exposure to weather and programme change. Woodhams moves as much of that work as possible into a controlled workshop environment, then delivers finished, tested assemblies to site ready to install.
Our workshop at Woodhams Business Park, Rotherwick, is certified for CE/UKCA fabrication to Execution Class 2 under BS EN 1090, and our in-house design team produces detailed designs to WIMES and fabrication drawings, so every assembly is designed, built and checked by the same team that installs it. Where a project calls for it, we have also set up dedicated local off-site facilities close to site to support just-in-time delivery.
Building off-site doesn’t mean losing flexibility. Pre-assembled components can be held and released to suit changing programme dates, and our project managers keep the client and site teams informed through weekly progress meetings.
